Client provides SaaS environment for executing email campaigns. Very large number of OLTP transaction created by email marketing processes. We designed an implemented near real time data warehouse load process using Pentaho Kettle (Pentaho Data integrator tool). Complex business rules were applied using Kettle transformations. Data aggregation at day, week, month and customer level. Reporting was done using Open reports platform. Pentaho Kettle provided unmatched performance for processing large amounts of data on Linux and MYSQL platform.

Project – Real time Data Integration of Yahoo Order and Payment API (email marketing Company)

Client provides data analysis and email marketing integration software as a service (SaaS). We architected and implemented real time data integration platform using Pentaho Data Integrator (Pentaho Kettle). Created ETL platform that called Yahoo Order and Payment API web service in real time to download Orders and Items data. The Orders data was loaded into data warehouse and utilized to create business intelligence used for marketing.

Project – Enterprise Data Warehouse (Online education and Test preparation SAT, CAT)

Client provides online service for test preparation related to SAT and CAT. Client’s service is used by a large number of individuals, schools and school districts. Client wanted to track performance of students and courses across various dimensions. We architected and implemented enterprise data warehouse on PostGreSQL and Linux platform. The Pentaho Data Integrator (Pentaho Kettle) based data integration solution processed huge amount of transactional data and applied complex business rules before loading into enterprise data warehouse. The solution helped customer measure performance of various courses offered.
